Description
Galvus Met should be given with meals to reduce the gastrointestinal side effects associated with metformin hydrochloride. If a dose of Galvus Met is missed, it should be taken as soon as the patient remembers. A double dose should not be taken on the same day.
Side Effects:
Nausea, vomiting, stomach upset, diarrhea, weakness, or a metallic taste in the mouth may occur. If any of these effects persist or worsen, tell your doctor or pharmacist promptly.
